One Acts 2023: Something to Crow About

For the 2nd year in a row, Statesmen Theatre premiered 6 new one-acts in their Annual Festival of Student-Written, Directed & Produced New Works, under the umbrella title The Writings on the Wall - featuring Murder Murder by Ben Campagnuolo, Trapped in Denial by Lia Davila, Dating Blind by Kaden Hughes, Shards of Our Heart by Rayan Afif, Over Coffee by Han Nguyen, plus the VHSL Original one-act Black Sabbath Sleepover by Mr. DeLeo. The festival presented 4 comedies and two dramas with all sorts of ambitious effects this year: a crow attack! TWO explosions! Multiple murders! Magic & spells! And many many laughs.
